As a university centennial commemoration enterprise, the first theme of the station which has tackled is "fusion of civil engineering and architecture." Creation of the station building space beyond the mere traffic institution was called for. A three-dimensional atrium and an open space, environmental equipment of light, and the design which aimed at speediness and future nature has been the feature.
